Nike has officially introduced Kobe Bryant's eighth signature shoe. After several teasers and early looks the brand held a media event last night to welcome the latest addition in the Black Mamba lineage. What is now the lightest performance basketball shoe in the Nike catalog offers a mix between an engineered mesh upper and a full length Lunarlon midsole to allow the incredibly light 9.6 ounce measurement.
With plans to launch on both Nike iD and at retailers on December 20th, expect a lot from this shoe in the coming weeks. For those wondering the first launch model will be the black and sulfur colorway with retail set at $140. Until then check out the pics and let us know what you think of Kobe's new sneaker.

Some of y'all dumb asses forgot kobe is a basketball player, these shoes aren't made for y'all's dumb ass t shirts and snap backs they are for hooping and they are easily the best on court shoes since Jordan retired

nike definitely regressed from the last two kobe signatures but the 8 is beginning to grow on me..give it some time bro and see if you become a fan

I see the evolution and the technological advancement. I cant hate on the progress but I agree they could look a bit better.
