NBA Sneaker Recap 12/10-12/12
The 2012-'13 NBA season has been nothing short of spectacular so far this year and with the league's annual Christmas games on the horizon, fans can expect even more thrilling action. These games have also been a treat for us sneaker fanatics as well and SneakerWatch has been paying close attention to what the athletes have been lacing up in the first month and a half of the season. Some players have been killing it on a consistent basis and we get more of that with another recap of NBA footwear from the past few days.
We start off with a surprising sneaker sighting from the Cavaliers' C.J. Miles who laced up the "Bentley Ellis" Air Jordan 9's which matched perfectly with his yellow/burgundy Cavs jersey. They defeated Kobe and the Lakers Tuesday night, a game which saw The Black Mamba break out a blackout-type version of his eighth signature sneaker, showing progression with the new addition to the footwear line. Carmelo Anthony went with his Melo M8 joints as he led his Knickerbockers to their first win in Barclays Center by putting up an amazing 45 points in a thrilling 3-point win.
The Atlanta Hawks decided to show South Beach some love as the entire roster balled in the South Beach adidas Top Ten while playing the Miami Heat. LeBron James wore another PE version of his tenth signature shoe while his teammate Chris Bosh laced up his Hyperposite Home PE's once again.
