NBA Sneaker Recap 12/20-12/23
The NBA is only a couple of days away from their Christmas Day games and the sneaker community will get the chance to see several holiday footwear on display. The league's best players will be engaged in battle this Christmas holiday and the very next day, December 26th, is when sneakerheads will get the chance to get their hands on Christmas kicks from Derrick Rose, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant and among other athletes. But before we get to those much anticipated games, we get a look at what the athletes have worn over the past few days around the NBA.
We begin with Lakers' superstar Kobe Bryant who went with his eighth signature sneaker once again, rallying his team from a double-digit deficit to a 3-point overtime win. Jordan Crawford of the Wizards continued with his Air Jordan 11 prowess as he switched out his Cool Greys for the low top white/red joints. He was joined by the Bulls' Nate Robinson who also wore the coveted AJ 11's, going with the recently released black/red edition. LeBron James was also seen in another PE version of tenth signature sneaker while Monta Ellis continues to be a big fan of the Jordan Spizike. Rajon Rondo of the Celtics may have stolen the show once again as he went with the "Fighter Jet" Foamposite Ones.
